I read this somewhere about some not-so-generic processing unit: "The processor also differs from FPGAs (field-programmable gate arrays), which are reprogrammable circuits that can help execute specific tasks such as XML processing." Who the hell writes FPGA software for processing XML? -

Would someone give me the spikeball equation? D: -
Why the hell not implement an XML processor on an FPGA - if you need an parser that filters or translates streams of XML as fast as the data can be shoved over the bus. The right question is why you'd be using XML in the first place... Still, FPGAs in database applications, hardware implemented h -

demoscene is like alchemists, we want to make gold. -
I'm now totally spoiled: tweaking WebGL shader params with Timeline.js. Way too easy to make effects that only seem to work properly on my NVIDIA mac but glitch in a beautiful way on the desktop ATI win7 PC. Damn experimental tech ;) -
Now add a MIDI controller for some nice VJing ;) -
demoscene is like pissing contest, we want to go farther. -
bullshits want the underground too. we have to maintain our positions. -
does webgl support precision specifiers (mediump vec4 etc) as it's openglES based? -
psonice: yep -
cool. Going to see if it'll work for iphone shader writing then :) Thanks! -

Is there a bbs on Demo'ish Music? No. On Demo'ish movie music, yes, but 1 entry only. Any explanation? -
I don't know if you've heard, but demos use all kinds of music nowadays. Old demos used chiptune music of course, but that's normally just called "chiptune music". -
