Is there a way to have Pouët globally open links in new tabs instead of replacing itself? I keep losing the Pouët tab after following and X-ing links. =)
Correction: not globally, but for external links.
I was hoping for a solution that does not involve extra thought indirections and button presses.
T-101: Only the external links not pointing to Pouët, but yeah, seems like it requires plugins.

The idea was to have one general AI thread to avoid creating more and more specific ones and also having that topic infest unrelated discussions. Seems like that failed.

hot mm: Crackingscenes the Great and Demoscenes the Great were siblings or cousins (record is unclear), but in any case Protoscenes the Great was their common ancestor. =)
Pretty sure only a modest share of that energy is used on picture/music/video-generating AI.
Forgy: That's not what i said, at all. My point was that the wannabe-artists you so despise likely don't contribute much to overall AI energy consumption.
The implication being that "we just love to pretend being artists" is a bit off the mark regarding the bigger picture.
Forgy: I comprehend. Also rather sure that the average Pouët user, like the average normal person out there, causes more AI energy usage via websearch and AI assistency than generating "art". :)

And why is this a bad thing.
I still don't get why Javascript for microcontrollers would be a bad thing.

leGend: So is Python, and yet it's quite popular for top-level scripting of high-performance computing.
Forgy: A basic JS interpreter isn't very big and quite comparable to... a BASIC interpreter.
