posting demo releases is not stupid, as some demos may not be released at parties, and thus may not be known at all -
and what about those released at parties?? -
those should not be added to the news, since they had their attention at the party place and here on pouet. -

Announcing demos on the news area of a demo website - that's just stupid. Post your blog there instead. -
