gloom: i think "the scene" needs to have this debate about what is and is not acceptable properly one day soon. - why ? since when is "the scene" supposed to have any regulation at all ?

yes - Fair enough, in a competition I can accept it. However, demos have been using "other peoples" graphics (scanned, re-pixeled, whatever) for ages. I don't think we should have discussions or should set regulations on what is acceptable and what is not. L
