Why do modern demoeffects haven no name? - they do, they are all cumulatively called "Realtime Adaptive Raymarching" now... :/

demos are mostly not sequences of different effects anymore -
they are all ribbons -

cuz every effect is just a variation of polygons with textures ontop. Bring back 2d!! -
It can easily be approximated by polygons and shaders with textures on top. But if you really want it back, why not make something yourself?
