yeah I liked it too, although src: "Mars" is not a number either or "length Holland tunnel" :) - yeah but the answer to "what is the demoscene" is not a number but there are plenty of numbers correlated to "mars" ;)

decipher, which obviously corrodes languages and their meanings. A theory is just that,where a proven fact is a proven fact. Incredible that science wasnt clever enough to figure this out, but ...perhaps they were.. -

Should the theory not explain them adequatly (such as newtonian mechanics), it needs to be either updated or then discarded. Also, a theory needs to be falsifiable

In the scene, hardware is a framework that is used to do cool things with it (ie. "demos"). Should the hardware be obsolete (such as a C64), it gets even more interesting for sceners. Also, a demo needs to have cubes. - .. falsifiable and make predictions, because otherwise it's useless in its purpose (explaining the world around us). Hypothesis, speculation and wild guesses are not theory, except perhaps in everyday speak.
- ... cubes and ribbons, because otherwise it's useless in its purpose (showing ribbons around a cube). Benchmarks, games and BITS are not demos, except perhaps in everyday speak.
