- say I cannot swizzle in GLSL. is vec2(vec3(a, b, c)) == vec2(a, b), or is it something weird like vec2(a / c, b / c) ?
- kk. Turns out my lamo C++ GLSL "clone" (GLM) can't cast vec3 to vec2 anyway just like that, but thanks for clarifying anyway :)

- Say I have an unsigned byte in the range 0..255 that I would like to convert to a float with range 0..1 - is there any hack that can do this really fast? I was thinking some kind of bitshift operation and a typecast. In C#.

- Anyone that knows a piece of code which can take a raw unsigned byte RGB image and turn it into a PNG the fastest way possible? No compression is required, the faster the better, I just need to pass it on.
