Jay Miner focused on general purpose sound chips like POKEY and Paula, and Jack Tramiel was more into the musical aspects of computing, with SID and the ST's MIDI Interface
I'm not, that's my observation on the matter. What's yours?
And... he squeezed an extra buck out of the Atari ST by making it useful for musicians via MIDI?
Oh, I see now.

It was Nvidia changing their drivers that fucked up ASD's "Happiness is Around the Bend"!

I'm still sticking with Windows 10, no matter what - anyone else doing the same thing?

I heard that people are going back to Windows 7, but does modern software and games run on it?
4gentE: They said 10 would be the final Windows, but of course they couldn't leave well enough alone.
My Ryzen 5 PC can run Windows 11, but the sys req are higher, and I just don't like the changes and additions
I find PC demos of zero interest as well, cos I prefer to see much more older and limited hardware sing and dance

I avoided the Popular Demo by Farbrausch for a long time simply because I didn't like the screenshot on the Back 2 The Roots website, but now I love it, but I HATE this AI rendition of it!

hot multimedia: Another Amiga bashing - just what is your issue or problem with the Amiga platforms?
Fair enough :) I myself have had an Atari STFM and an A500 and an A1200, so I've been in both camps, so to speak. I don't think any particular platform is better or worse (not anymore) they're all DIFFERENT and UNIQUE in their architectures, which adds to the variety!
A lot of Amiga demos back in the mid-90s were being developed on PC, so it's nothing new
