I dabbled with assembler but gave up on it, I could never understand it.

@cruzer: Atari 8-Bit tape games took much longer, it feels like that

@kapsel: I know all that, but one time I fried my Atari Datacorder's PCB by sticking the power adapter lead into the SIO port, which was too easy, and I was fumbling around in the dark, not doing it deliberately
I didn't realise that my Atari's humble SIO interface would go on to inspire USB, which is a massive worlwide standard these days, I'm so proud of that! :)
AAAMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Why does the oneliner insert spaces into long single strings? Obviously, it doesn't want them too long for the word wrap, I suppose
I just checked: my space disappeared, but sim's was still there, almost as if he inserted it deliberately...
kapsel: Brainbow is all my own idea, I was quite surprised that Amiga Power magazine gave it 3 out of 5!

Ah, Fanta, the Nazi drink! Great choice(!)

"You told us Windows 98 would be faster and more efficient with better access to the internet!" "It IS faster, over 5 million-" HEADSHOT! ROFLMAO! I always loved that South Park moment!

What I love about the oneliner is that you can only post one line at a time, otherwise trolls would be spamming it constantly

@serp: If you ask me, the Simpsons jumped the shark with that stupid "Principal and the Pauper" episode, and it has NEVER recovered from it!
Assembly is old-hat, Revision is the real deal these days!

@serp: Jolly good

What happened with the latest WinUAE (6.0.0)? The interface looks terrible!
No, it was more compact before, even if some elements weren't all tidily lined-up. It's like Toni Wilen has moved to a 4K resolution for his Windows!
I remember that, I probably criticised something about it back then, don't remember what, at least the new 6.0.0 is realtime-scalable and uses dark mode
and this will affect the Demoscene.

How many sound chips does the Atari Falcon 030 have? All other computers I know of only have one
2025-09-09
leGend: I thought they already did that: they were called plasma screens

hm: They both use the same general principles, even have the same pros and cons
That's the difference, yes, but both were still bulky and expensive and went the way of the dinosaur :(
