- on my core 2 duo (2Ghz) mplayer uses ~2% of cpu to decode 1080p in realtime. ;) so i think your athlon will handle this task too.
- ah yes. checked again and it's 40%. so one core near the maximum. dunno why the other time my cpu counter showed 2% (I was amazed too! :))
