- Listening to mod.bluehouse2 and mod.overload I'm thinking what were the synths they sampled the sounds from. Always loved the bass and chord sounds alot...

I don't know about those tunes specifically, but in Crystal Symphonies 2 they mention "Roland D-10, U-20 and D-50, Korg M1 and Wavestation, Yamaha DX-7S and SY-77, Ensoniq VFX and Alesis SR-16". -
Hard to tell with that low fidelity but you could likely get very close with any early 80s subtractive poly on those chords for example -

Never quite understood the appeal of sampled synth sounds when you can have sampled instruments the synths tried to emulate in the first place, tbh.
