I thought the whole "make a demo about it" schtick is that you make it for yourself, not "people". -
The trick is to accept that you'll simply never please everyone. -
Unless you are able to connect it to business idea like others here (FuterMark, Notch, Tooll, ShaderToy etc...) IMHO just don't -

still we're releasing the demos we make for ourselves into outright popularity contests ;-) -
and then moan about people not being left leaning enough. I get it. -
I‘ll take Things that Never happened for 500, Alex - I dunno about politics, I'm here just for the thrills and man, what thrills do the demos give me (still, after 40 years (tbh those were cracktros but still))
- Stay hungry. Stay foolish. Make a demo about it.
- leGend: the intros were just a way to have demoish content piggyback on something with a wider mass appeal =)
- Yep I seldom watched the intros more than played the game after it, which infuriated my little brother and some friends :D
- When someone would hit space on an intro I haven't seen before I would scream.
- Little that anyone knows, in Suboceanic if you hit space on the last scene it shows hidden fish (final release only)
- I would like to see more vanilla Falcon demos, like A1200 demos too. Make 'em. I'm waiting. Entertain me (+thousands others). Meanwhile: Coffee and watching clouds pass by with south-american music playing in the background...

You could ping Alpa for music again. Alpa's HERWORLD for that poster demo reveal was STUNNING. - hitchhikr: well, I have been toying with some ideas for 4 channels, but totally could do adpcm track ;)
