@sim : I have only seen the 1972 series, not the 2000. But Jean Piat was an AWESOME actor ! So much charisma and playfulness. Belmondo-level ! He's loving his job (and France), and it shows ! A friendly French LION ! I wish we had more like these today ! Also : the voice of freaking GANDALF ! :D -

- @sim : SUPER interesting time period, tbh ! Insanely relevant to our current situation. I think there are translations for those who don't speak French. IIRC, GRR Martin used Les Rois Maudits as inspiration for his Game Of Thrones book series.

- @kaneel : I know ! Have some respect for non-French speakers. :) @Sim : Philippe le Bel protected the kingdom. Nobody does this in 2026 anymore. :( I however agree that templars and Cathars were interesting characters. I'm very into ancient archeology and these guys probably knew things... :)
