just enough STL features to turn it into the language it was designed not to be - but come on I start hearing that RUST which was designed to fix C++ starts bringing examples worst than C++ itself. Not judging.. but isn't it that every technology is overbloated, overtime?

C/C99 and Lua still look good to me. if in doubt, use 68k assembly -
The safer languages are better when you're working on a team where you don't have time or authority to educate any team members that would make a mess otherwise -
