7z sucks, winrar rules, I can't bear the thought of creating unlocked zips on 7z -
7z creates smaller zips than winrar though -
7z has the shocking UI failure (it's not UX, only children do "UX") where Add To Archive is an operation you have to do on the existing archive, not on the target file. this is boring but it needs to be said. -

In general 7z rules. No question about. Period. In some cases, thou, for ex. some ISO images, are better packed with WinRar. - general 7z is marching in. you better do not start to pack your stuff!
