Do you mean ruined because you have to make a whole in the case? I thought the CPU was socketed but it was many years since I looked inside an A500. It is only the CPU that is emulated, the custom chips are not. -
Many reasons but the bottom line for me is, why use emulation when you have a 100% correct, working, real machine? But, to each their own and all that. Tinkerers gonna tinker. -

ElTopo: I dunno, I'm the same way with PPC and other stuff like it. I guess I don't see the point in maxing out the fps count in Quake or playing DivX on an Amiga. But that's just me. I hardly even use my 1260 these days. -
