- Deus: I had the same problem. Look for a local ASUS repair center (if they exist). Talk what is up and should work. If not, open the PC, where the HD is, on your own and take it out. But maybe your PC does not "allow" such a manipulation... Good luck!
- Deus: Call them. In my case I can remove the HD without breaking the "global" warranty. It is a separated part easyly removable. BTW. Consider in buyng an external usb HD for your back ups... Losing data hurts more than paying f.ex. 800NOK... Cheers!

- Deus: I was waiting up to 2 weeks (but they had a laboratory at the place, so no sendings!)...Have a look at the bottom. It otta be easy to grab the HD out (and usually you do not have any warranty-stickers there). BUT BE careful about the ATA-SATA connec
