The loud dissonant drones are extremely objectionable and quite frankly unlistenable in the capture. The proposed capture is is from hardware, and the audio is much better. It does use a an aftermarket acceleration board that (afaik anyway) is quite a bit more powerful than any actual Amiga, but the existing capture is already from an emulator and the speed at which it plays back the demo isn't quite truthful either. All in all I think the proposed replacement is about the same in visuals/performance aspect, and MUCH better in sound. |
