- @Kuemmel: Thanks for the clarificattion. Well, I don't have MIDI. From the video I think it's a great idea to stuff the tune with bass notes in order to preserve the character of the theme but have all notes of the same length value. Besides that, devildude looks different on the real DOS installation (using codepage 850). Is some specific codepage required? Great work anyway!

- Thanks for releasing the sources; tried this on a real dos machine where it produced no sound. By what mechanism is the sound supposed to be generated? Is some special configuration required?
