.werkkzeug 3 released

category: offtopic [glöplog]
With this new version of .werkkzeug you can create not only demos, but games too. This version is limited because it is unable to create exe files, but you can simply use .wz3 as player or render video.
WZ3 provides many functions, such as anaglyptic rendering, doing advanced animation, wavelet-transformations and advanced video effects.

learn english! STOP Hacking!
werkkzeug 3 is like 2006! :p
just learn english, its a goal you can achieve in lifetime :p
maybe!
maybe NOT!
for real:
hacking/annoying members of farbrausch until you have some old version of a demotool, which aint to be released and going where all the sisters/brothers of the thieved persons live in the net announcing you got it! has nothing to do with demoscene, not even with the cracking-scene, you are just lame!
PISS OFF and stop disturbing hard-working people!
Quisten: he would not pass the quality control department ;-)

hardy: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=54957 2006 ehh?? -.-

... and this yet another chance for some visual minds or "bad coders" to produce something interesting.

So what??

There are dozens of nice free to use engines which you could use to make demos: Unity, UDK, IDtech something / Quake 3, Blender Game Engine... They're not any worse than Werkzeug. Probably better and easier to learn, with more support and users etc.

hm, you cant use any tools without dokumentation. about 2mb of data are missing in the hackfile, no timeline?

hm, why did you do this hard HEX things? Fot what... it takes years to learn the tool, and thats with Doku, and its really old. Some of the bugs can really distroy your OS while using :)

xernobyl: go make a 64k with one of those ;) I bet making anything that would fit inside demo competition rules would be hard.

And besides, not everyone enjoys spending months coding their own tools, or coding every demo from scratch each time, and we're here to have fun, no? I'd rather see a hundred wz demos released than the people that would have made them doing fuck all instead. It's not like the really serious coders are going to start using this.

It is not difficult for me to explore asm listings and modify some bytes.

If this occurs, I shall fix it after OS reinstallation :-D.

Yep. Sure complex without docu. I tried to connect everything with everything to see how it works. The misc operators are sure kinda easier to begin with. Even tho it's not, to get the output as it was shown... or to use it for something else than that. Nothing to say about the kkrieger state machine. This' one hellish nightmare. But challenging. ;)

Big ups to the guys who used it.

And the tool runs quite stable. I haven't seen any big bugs around. might happen later when the files get bigger.

This tool seldom crashes with error message (for example, on Scenes page), but it does not try to destroy OS.

It seems that is needed to create operators in timeline, and names of this operators must be same as names of cameras on the page.

ehmm... what? sorry... this really bad ass english grammar. ;)

but... yeah. the scene manager likes to crash. there're minor bugs in the spline editor. it generally crashes when using the kkrieger.v2m sample file. rendertargets are unstable (which is bad for that kinda fx to do). and sure some other things I haven't found yet. but it's really safe to use for making demos the "regular werkkzeug way".

also... what you probably mean is that, when you generate and name a time operator you can (or have to - by workflow) immediately switch to the timeline editor and add and place it instantly by that name.

.werkkzeug 3 file format description will be released soon. I discovered more than 5 new structures.

wow. and I still don't know what I should use it for. like everybody else. ;)

If you'd disassemble the data-blob of debris or kkrieger that'd be worth something. else...
