It's over :-( can't wait for next year!! Thanks to the organizers there was a very great party in the easter weekend! Hopefully this will continue for many years to come! Thanks for all the hard work!

And thank you guys for all the votes!! It was my first entry in the oldskool exec music compo. I was aiming for something badass, well it seemed that this has work out pretty well :-D cheers to the guys in front on the stairs, who where going crazy while my entry was playing! AWESOME!!!! Back to you!!!

a few things:
++ great party hall (in the first minutes i was in, immediately felt good!)
++ chairs, much better!
+ sound system was good, not to loud (although my pants was shaking, sitting in row #22, i can not speak for the people in the back)
++ for toilets, there were more then enough so you could actually take your time when going #2 (no german guy shouting at your door "TF!! TF! TF! AUFMACHEN!!", but i could be nice to have some toilets in the beer garden since there is enough space :-))
++ lots of parking space
++ next to MediaMarkt and Supermarket!!
+ location more to the center of Europe. (although a bit further away for us)
- I missed the hall decoration with a theme like on Breakpoint, but the main hall had perfect lighting decorations and pinball machine's! (maybe next year fill the gaps off the dungeon underneath the main hall :-D)
-- food/drink stands (I think this does not need an explanation, luckily we brought our own coffee).
- second big screen in the beer garden please!

Revision rocks!! It's definitely the party you want to go at eastertime!

One thing that was really disappointing was the double entry from the video animation and the streaming compo. Please do not allow such things anymore next year. And also for intro/exec music compo's I know it has been done a lot in the past by groups who have for example a 4k intro and also release the music of that intro in an other compo such as the executable music compo's. This can be some sort of tradition so I do not want this to be completely forbidden, but please do not allow this UNLESS there are not enough entry's for a compo.

My fellow group members are participating the streaming compo for many years now, and never got through the pre selection.
air2k: To defend myself: The internet uplink was stable, the only time it went down during the party was while the 400mbit DoS attack was happening. What was unstable was the LAN, or to be more exact, the LAN core router. And the local partymeister and file servers. These need to be fixed.

Love all the complaints. You guys are good!

I enjoyed it all. Not much to put down really.
Outdoor piss-aeras is a must for next year. 1-2 of thoose portable urinals you see at festivals would've probably reduced outdoor pissing extravaganza thru the fens. Probably not too popular with owners or people passing by.
But I guess thats what you get when have to go thru Josefs basement each time to empty teh FleishSchwans ;)

Beer on Tap and a better coctail bar was also personally missed.

Oh and thanks for near to none douchebag security tendancy amongst the Organizers. Revision Organizerteam were IMO the best I've met at an easter party.

Not that I can speak with a lot of experience, but the orgas were very nice, laid back and seemed to know all the important stuff - or at least could tell who knew.

Spiked-Maniac's list is quite good, although, I might add/disagree with these:

+ No hall decoration, i've always felt there was no need for it at all, if so, then it should be a lot more noticeable, then at breakpoint, and the money used for it, I would have used on something else

- Showers, to few and to "messy", no room at all for .. shall we call it undressing and putting your clean clothes in without making it wet og dirty right away.
- Annoyed by the "regular" food, al

ffs .. one more time

- Annoyed by the "regular" food, all was bought at the same stand, making the queue quite long and slow some times.
- The hall destroyed the music in compos if you werent seated in the "right spots"
- Not taking care of VERY loud music all sunday night, coming from a place very near the sleeping area, kept me awake from ~2.30 to .. 7.00 approx., but being ill from the flu (I guess), that didn't make the situation better. I do remember being pissed about nothing had been done to shut them and their PA up. As I am not sure about who it was, I won't point fingers at anyone, although, they sat VERY close to the bigscreen.

.. besides that, everything was smooooooooth like hell, when all I can complain about was this, fucking ace performance then!

And I must say, the welcome at ~1.30 thursday night, was more than pleasant, you could just have told us to stfu and go to sleep, but instead we got a short and informative "tour" about the place, what a gentle thing to do, when somebody crashes your party 12 hours before official opening, hats (and pants) off to you!

Thank you all for the awesome party ! (esp. orgas)
Felt like I was back at break point without it being a too much of an straight carbon copy of it :)
I'd love to get the city shuttlebus during the daytime for the next year since it really opened bingen for quick short-term visits, not like the taxi was expensive or anything to stop me from going anyway :)

Anyway, I can't wait for the next year!
I think It's going to be huge.

oh wait, i forgot something:

Most of the fun-compo stuff and entertainment going on, didn't work for several reasons:

1. You couldn't hear half the things being said
2. It wasn't really entertaining for anyone else but the contestants, that was the general opinion amongst the people I talked to about it.
3. Look at 1. again.

BUT: These things are important to have at parties, it is was seperates your party from the next one, but the ones doing them, should think about how you could do it more entertaining for the audience, or even bring them into the game as well.

Well I can agree with you dwarf on the decoration, if the time/money can be spent much better, then there's no need for it. But I always found these decorations inspiring.

On the showers .. ghehe all these years I do not go to the showers while at the party, just changing clothes and refresh my face with water and use enough deo spray :-P die hard parting!

This year I took my bed and sleeping bag to the sleeping area for the first time, hehe all other years under the table or car, a fellow member of our group is even more die hard! He took a sleeping bag to the party for the first time this year! All other years he just constructed something out of chairs or lies on his keyboard or the ground or if it wasn't to cold outside in the car :-) haha!
So that's why he never came to pick up those salty licourice stars bstrr brought all the way from Denmark. Well that explains then ..

awww fuck that picture, I look so OUT THERE like I've seen a jazzy giraffe taking evil pictures. Seriously, OUT THERE.
Btw punqtured, I got the box! I gave bstrr some of my polish vodka and told him to find me later for some beers but he must have forgotten. Anyway, great to have those at home.
I may agree that decoration is not too important, but I always liked a TOPIC for the party. Furthermore, a Fast Intro Competition or something funny in between could have been nice... but that's complaining on a high level ;)

Ah, a fast demo competition would be great. I want to try it one day. But if so, please give an interesting briefing to make it a real challenge.

back in the old days there was Mekka & Symposium where people all around peacefully gathered and changed ideas, then it all came down to a breaking point, and after some time the breaking point needed to break. A new revision is and was a wonderful start for reviving the spirit, thank you <3
