OGG to MP3 keeping tag info?? Suggestions please?

category: general [glöplog]

Does anyone here convert OGG to MP3? I have a handful of OGG and I wanna convert them to MP3 but keep all the tagging information. Anyone suggest me a good app to do it?

Cheers

Audition has no problems with that.

transcoding is baad, mkay? (except if its lossless->lossy, of course)

I was going to transcode everything to 320kbps at highest quality setting. Sadly my CDJ's dont support OGG, so I dont really have an option.

what sim and wysiwtf said, but doesn't just about any converter also convert and tranfer the tags too?

foobar2000 should do it. Failing that, go to hydrogenaudio.org and ask there. I used to be an admin there until I fell for the charms of the demoscene.

Uh, relative quality -wise that's about the worst possible way to transcode stuff.
You get "Diminishing losses" by going from ultra-high-quality ogg to 64kbps mp3, not the other way around :)

But well, if you're not archiving and distributing those it doesn't matter.
