own custom screensaver under VISTA ?

category: general [glöplog]

is it possible to use a selfmade .exe as a screensaver under VISTA?

i know under XP you just had to rename it to .scr and copy into system32-directory...

...under VISTA this seems not to work!
the original screensavers have an executable like mystify.scr PLUS some document named like mystify.scr.mui...so is it possible to have an own .mui ? if,how ?

A screensaver in windows is (was?) just an executable that accepted a few special command line parameters.
