See, that's the whole issue with basing all our concept of what is remarkable on shock. Especially in compos, what count is the immediacy of it.
The scene was never all about that. This idea that we had to impress .. It's only when big-screens started becoming more important, than creating a state of awe came to prominence. It is as if with years we forgot about all the other axis of demomaking.
It's also why I think the most important release last year was hello:FRIEND.
