Some of the statements from this thread aren't that silly, but let me comment on them:

Yes. Nowadays it's easy to look up on the web if you want to retrieve information on any topic. This is true. That's why it isn't so important to have tutorials in diskmags any more.

But diskmags have one advantage: They are like a "surprise packet". You don't know what they'll contain when you download them. You leech the mag, run it and the surprise packet is opened. And then you see the contents. Sometimes they will leave you unaffected, but sometimes you'll be happy to learn about things you wouldn't have informed yourself about if you hadn't downloaded the diskmag. That's the cool thing about diskmags. Of course, if you know you're interested in something and want to learn more about it, you'll easily find it on the web using Google. But if you run a diskmag, you'll be confronted with new ideas which you would probably not have got interested in if you hadn't started the mag.

Yes, I think so, too. But coding tutorials in diskmags can give them new inspiration. And I want to emphasize on this occasion that *we are not only interested in publishing tutorials for beginners (we already have received quite a lot of articles of this kind), but we also want to publish articles about more advanced topics*. Things which could be interesting even for experienced coders such as the people writing in this thread (Preacher, Smash, ryg,...).
