Pouet: Being able to edit own productions.

category: general [glöplog]
This would be ideal for typos, errors to correct or to update old productions. Every user has his/her own password anyways, not able to change others productions.
Thanks!

fix me beautifull

Though some times it's the same, there is a difference between the person who submit a prod on Pouet and the authors of the said prod.

hello!

The fix me beatifull had degenerated so much, i didn't realize it was still having this goal.
added on the 2005-09-05 02:51:36 by BITS BITS
you'd need to link the authors of the prod and uh oh... yes what a terribly insanely huge amount of work that would be (but nevertheless the bestest feature possible - linking users into prods).

in 99% of the cases the people submitting a prod are not the authors.

how about just defining some user to be "admin" for his group and after that he could modify groups releases etc?

anyway, adding credits to each production would be cool too :)

creds to each prod: use the nfo file.

NFO FILES ARE FOR ENLIGHTMENT AND NOT FOR PENIS-JOKES, UNCLEX!

Penis-jokes has their relevance in all media.

So, returning to the topic.

If I want to do some changes to my submitted prods,
I have to send e-mails,
and the pouet mantainers are very occupied,
and then in 10 years every one has changed their Web sites,
and the URL must be changed too,
and what is the password for, anyways?
Passwords are secret. Keep a secret.
And then if do a new version of my prod,
and I could remove the old version,
and it didn't work, anyways.

1. nope, post a message in the fix me beautiful thread
2. we all are
3. so what ?
4. You know cool URL don't change. Get a domain name, damn it.
5,6 oO
7.8.9 cf point 1. or simply update the archive on your website and post a note on the sheet of the prod.

""And then if do a new version of my prod,
and I could remove the old version,""

eh eh, you don't need to make a new version of your prod, only suckers like microsoft makes new versions of their previous bugged releases.

if you're not sure to make the real final release, don't release it and catch the bugs !
then god created internet name domains and final versions of productions so that the reoccuringly overexploited girls with extremly voluptous breasts would stop feeling lonely so lonely, and it was good.

And that make you think posting Broken link 2005.9.27 at prod pages is the better solutiion?
BB Image
Not to mention that stating the date is stupid since there is a timestamp below each comment.

That is for the mantainers to know...
Then they can change the link to the new place.
You don't need to make my commercials, p01, but thanks anyways...

And back to the topic...
wikipedia is working excellent, this could also have such wiki possibilities. But then, maybe there are too many hackers...
Thanks Pouet

Yea, yesterday I was reading the Wikipedia article on Jimi Hendrix, and it said he didn't have any fingers on one hand, but had picks glued to his stumps so he could play.

Wikipedia works lovely indeed. Someone apparently fixed it again now, but looking at the history of the page, it has been vandalized and repaired multiple times... blah. People suck.

Which part of the following quote didn't you understand?
Quote:
if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, email or post about it.
To make it understandable even for you:
There was a workng url for Milk in the comments, you just had to use that one.
i second melwyn and manko. having credits for each production would rock. tho that would indeed be a lot of work. it would also cause some "NO HE'S NOT JMAGIC, I AM" problems

solO2: if you talk about my "illegal telepathy = cancer" online, I think you missed the point and won a round trip for YE OLDE CLUE SHOPPE. \o/

feed the troll guys, just feed it...

i say all tripod-hosted tripe (ho ho ho) might as well be deleted from the database... considering dear solO2's oh-so obvious attention deficit syndrome, odds are it won't take him long to re-add all prods with actually working download links.
