So how long before we see anti-demo hysteria in the headlines?
"Man caught speeding through tunnel: demos blamed"
"Woman burns self juggling molten metal. 'But it works with metaballs'"
"Child suffocates trying to compress himself into box 640mm wide 'It should be enough for everybody' claim parents"

Demos can cause epilepsy.

Conclusion: Demos should be forbidden.

Demos are useless computer software. Young programmers spend a lot of hours for creating something that doesn't offer any valuable thing to our society. They should be banned! We will become really underground and illegal this way :)

Gamers wins!!!
=========

Hallo all!

Today, two Internet Cafe owners were judged in the court of Thessaloniki for letting children playing computer games in their stores. Icafe owners and several young gamers were there to protest (me too), all wearing T-shirts saying in front "NO to the censorship of Internet" and in back "Set PC Games Free", holding banners and shouting signals. Mass media came at the place, both Greek channels (Mega, Star, Alter, ET3, TV100 and anyone I may forgot) and foreign ones (BBC Radio, Reuters). The reason of this movement was to bring the issue to the publicity and catch the attention of the media. Yesterday also, the owner of an Webcafe that had to close because of the law, hanged himself outside the White Tower of Thessaloniki holding a banner saying "NO to the censorship of Internet" (Ok strange,. didn't liked it since games forbidance was the main subject, but they interviewed some persons who explained everything about his acts). There will be some more covering from the news and we will get exclusive photos too. But the most important was the decision of the court!

I was in the court among with my friend Panos Livitsanos who came there to support and also take a reportage for PC Master computer magazine. We were all happy for the final results! The stupid law was judged as beeing against the constitution (Something the had 10 years to happen in Greece as someone else told me!) and the Webcafe owners were left as innocent. I am at TheWeb now and all the computers are opened again! (No red-white bands and such bullshit!) Webcafe owners said that they will allow to their customers to play games again very soonish, probably when they get the innocense decision of the court in their hands (I think tommorow), some of them said that they will open games in their Webcafes even today just to celebrate :)

Since the law 3037 was judged as anticonstitutional by the court, the next that comes now, is to make the appropriate moves in order to "uninstall" it as sooner as possible. We are just waiting. But we are sure now that everything will finish very well, sooner than what we expected!

Finally, I can go home now and study for my university. My mom was woring about.. ;-)

No! No! No! Not dead!!! He was just hanging like a mountain climber...

If he hanged himself dead upon an ancient monument of Thessaloniki, it would be NumberOne news and would get great attention from the news!!! ;P

Hey hey!!!

Yesterday I was walking around the city. The Icafe's are playing games again (But the matter is not finished yet)

And the big joke? Walking in a dark corner I found a store saying InternetCafe, with dark glass walls (?), you couldn't see from outside what was going on the monitors, no kids but elder people sitting. I bumped in. They were playing gambling games (fruits) with the PCs!!! Arghhh!!! I asked the owner if there is Internet here, he laughed "Ho ho ho ho ho", his wife laughed too this way like saying "Whatever they do, they won't catch us!" This way, nobody could see from outside what is going on. If a policeman bumbed in they would switch applications (From fruit to an internet explorer window for example) and nothing would happen. Ugh! While our Icafes are open to the public, you can see from outside the street that someone plays LAN Games, because we don't have anytyhing to hide! But that bastard, with the law or not, he was working perfectly!

YES!!! The silly 3037 law had made such a bad thing to gaming community and Icafe owners who are legal and couldn't stop the illegal gambling. It closed what it shouldn't close and didn't stop what it was intended for!!! Ugh!

I am gonna talk about this matter with some Icafe owners who were fighting for their legal stores and let them do what they want..
