getting started demo programming.

plek: yeah that's what i was trying to allude to, kinda - once you've started, you can establish it much better what's good or what's not.

the 'adapt' follows the 'do', perhaps we should just set him up with a fixed task / set of info :)

so here goes: download some tuts/books mentioned here, store it on your hd, clip the ethernet connection and hack away for a week. then come back.

Might help you get started and actually produce some things, without the hassle of learning a new programming language. Freebasic is certainly capable of producing a decent demo.


Because I have choosen G4 10.3 Panther PPC I see no chance in getting anything to work with freebasic on osx. So multiplattform...in case of mac = NO!
