Arrived home around 6h ago. I've definitely set my personal record for the longest Revision return journey ever. Need to rest, love you <3.

Thanks for the awesome party. I returned with a cold again, but that's kind of tradition aswell and simply caused by my own stupidity.

I enjoyed meeting great people, watching awesome productions.
Food was really ok, i enjoyed for the events.

Gonna be there again next year.

And yeah, that "I won Revision mug" will bring a smile on my face anytime I drink my coffee / tea out of it.

Thank you all!

Actually, regarding Gargaj's comment, it's the first time they DID have hot water in the showers, and I was pleasantly surprised. This was immediately after the 5k run.

Incorrect. There was warm water last year as well after the 5k run. The year before it was freezing cold though.

Also I would like to thank the organizers for toning down the volume levels for the compos etc. on sunday. While it was nasty loud on friday and saturday, it was pretty much perfect on sunday. Big love.

I also second AceMan's suggestion that the final compo block could start an hour or two earlier. Some people need to drive the next day and even if they don't drink heavily, there's lack of sleep when you get to your hotel or so at 4AM and need to check out from your place of accommodation by 10 or 11 or so and that sort of hurts.

But all in all things were great, thanks to everyone for the great party.

So, finally somewhat landed on earth after this weekend.

Thank you all people that I met, people that I briefly bumped into, people that I missed, people that I'd wanted to share more time with, people that organized the whole lot (I felt bad being less involved..), people that made amazing shit for me to watch, people that played amazing music for me, people that drunkenly joined me for the compo studios, knowing it was a bad idea, people that offered me treats, stickers and gadgets just because, people that relaxed and chatted with me when i wasn't doing that well on Sunday, people that I had convinced to come for the first time and who I then barely saw at the party, people that rather took pictures with my cardboard-self than with me, people that I only exchanged glances or cheers with, but that was enough...

Basically all of you! Missing Revision last year showed me how much I fucking need this party every year! I love you all, this is where I belong and I'm humbled to still be part of this scene.

xxx

Great party! It was my second Revision and I'm already looking forward to seeing some unexpected invitro in December 2017 :-)

Thanks to all the people I met, had a fun with, also those I didn't have a chance to talk to or those I've been meeting for some years only to say "Hello!" constituting the whole conversation :-)

- Dancing with Lycan and Bacter to a gabber version of Hava Nagila provided by Poo-Brain sound system - checked.

Couple of thanks or random thoughts:

- Thanks to Lug00ber for his help with mastering music and to the compo team for a very quick response to my upload problems.
- Thanks to the crowd that liked my short but pretty energetic tune - seeing my entry on the screen during the prizegiving was the plan, so thanks for that! (additional thanks to D-Fox for asking "Warum tanzt Du nicht, Moqui?"). Also thanks to all the people I had a pleasure to listen to the music compos with.
- Thanks to the security guys for keeping an eye on the things in a very non-intruisive way - I hope they enjoyed the party as much as they were in a position to.
- Food - I only tried that pizza once and I didn't like it. Wurst stand - a bit better and I'm sure I've spent more money with them than on alcohol. Vegan stand - tried their food once, it was good, would love to seem them next year too.
- Thanks to people I knew from IRC for being as cool IRL as I had expected them to be.
- Revision app - great addition to the party but I found that 2 functions I used the most were "Live Voting" and "Timetable" - would it be possible to have them both available from the menu (rather than going "My Party" (or whatever it was called) -> "Live Voting" and "Events" -> "Timetable")?
- The place I was sitting (a very central part of the main hall) had a pretty weak Wi-Fi connection at some times (I found it worked better in other places, including outside tent) and both my laptop and my phone had some issues there. But hey, I'm far away from complaining here, given the fact there WAS a connection and moving away with a tablet or a laptop is not that much of an issue for me.

Regarding the long PC Demo Compo - it was a bit too long for me, but at the same time, unless the entry doesn't meet certain requirements (legal issues, good taste etc) it shouldn't be pre-selected. I still believe in the common sense here (you know, before you submit an entry you usually check the demos from a previous year to see what you might be possibly compete against). The only improvements would be to start it a bit earlier maybe? (but I can appreciate this may present some problems from the orga point of view)

Travelling back: airport, security check, after getting x-rayed I was asked to hold on for a moment and confirm something they apparently had seen in my bag. Did I forget to throw away another bootle of water? Maybe the powerbank that I had forgotten to take out and put away on the tray?... Officer pointed out something on the screen and asked:

- Sir, is that 3.5" floppy disk we can see here?
- Yeeesss...
- Oh, how oldskool of you, ooo, you even had an Atari t-shirt! Have a nice flight!

Thank you for a great party and see some of you in exactly 5 weeks! :-)

Oh yes, before I forget, apologies to the organizers for leaving the roasting sticks and carrying bag next to the fire ring! I should have taken care of those up before I left the hall on Monday. There were eight, but I broke one Saturday after trying to fix a stick I found some scener had stuck in the ground and bent. I don't know if anyone absconded with any before the party finished.
Given that there was a whole BBQ (complete with cold sausages and bread) on the parking lot, a few roasting sticks were probably the least problem. :D
so i loaded up 'the cure' floppy disk i got as a price and the result made me speechless. thank you!

After one week of consideration I would say that Remute on the second stage was a really blasting away kind of dance event.

[...]eventually forgot to fetch my Heli Ball and thats ok (its less than 10 euros, no harm done), but I would be interested to know where it eventually ended up. Any ideas? =)

I heard that one of its rotors actually hit someone in the face. If I recall correctly SunSpire solved the issue with style. I don't think it will fly again.

You better do not do this again.

I didn't trash it, though. No idea where it ended up later on.
