I ordered a pizza in the bar on Saturday, also ate sweets and apples from the infodesk. On Sunday I ate bread with jam for breakfast. Feel fine.

It's like Assembly 94 all over again. At least all the bathrooms weren't filled with puke this time.

...do I want to know what happened?

Thx for the 2nd place 😊
We brought our own food & drinks with us.
I just have a few symptoms of a common cold (runny nose, a scratchy throat and a cough). Oni is fine.
Hope you all make a full and speedy recovery😚

There was also a major stomach flu or something going around there, with said results. The toilets looked quite horrible.. I myself caught a +39C fever on Saturday, had to leave the party and later on didn't even remember how I got home (which was about 120km from the party place).

I wanted to thank all the organizers for this wonderful party. It was really a bless and besides the voting-thing everything worked like a charm. I'm not really sure, if I preferred the new room-layout. The place seems a bit too wide-spread and roomy, but on the other hand: we wouldn't have finished our release if not for the quiet room at the end.

I really enjoyed Pandur's seminar even though because of deadline-stress, I only managed to join at the very end.

The food-poisoning is super unfortunate. So far, I'm fine (finger's crossed). But then again, I only head bear and pizza from the bar.

I really hope there will be a deadline next year!

Finally home, safely! :)

What comes to the sickness: I don't think it came from any food. I didn't have anything to eat from the bar just some coffee from the info desk and some bread, margarine and müsli for breakfast. Otherwise I had my own food. So it sounds very unlikely. But yeah it's getting better even though the flight today was kind of horror.

A really strange phenomenon. When it was not the food - what was it then. A virus?

Things that speak for a virus:

- really different incubation times
- some people, just do not have it, others do. b-marzahn as an somehow isolated island?
- it seems, that shared foods can be slowly sorted out as root cause

I have a strange pain in my back, that started after the flight back to cologne, but I see a different cause for it. (doing sports and stuff, but would maybe also fit into a virus-scheme).

Perhaps the virus was set free because we offended the demoscene cult ... maybe by corrupting partymeister. :)

If you guys caught a virus the people flying back with you in the same, fully air conditioned, airplane will definitely appreciate it by now...

It can't be the food. I are all meals the other Orgas had during buildup, and only ate stuff at the Location during the Party: From the Bar, breakfast, Snacks, milk, grilled stuff etc.
And I'm totally fine. It's a standard virus which is going around every autumn. If you had it once it's unlikely to get it again.
That's also what methearas doctor said, btw. (she was also affected, but is already feeling better)
If you're 3 days as close together as like on a demo party it's the perfect condition for a virus to spread.
So the good news: Everybody who doesn't has it by now is probably immune and won't get it.

That sounds more likely. We should devotedly offer some more cubes and effects to our god, so that he spares us from it next time.

Let's not let the virus distract us from the fact that it was a great party. Looking forward to next year already!

i would like to know who is patient zero, and what was he thinking? - "uh, yes, i feel pretty awful, i just had to shit and puke all day, my wife also, maybe it's time to go to the demoparty?"

<3 Thanks! Party Feedback (both positive and negative) is very much appreciated! What did you think about the new location, the Event Lineup, the catering etc?

I also plan to write a longish recap from an orga point of view, which will also shed some light on the pitfalls we ran into and how we dealt with them, and what we plan to do better next time. :)

Thanks for the great party! I love the new location, especially the bar and the terrace. I'm coming back next year to drink a bear.
There was certainly no problem with the food. In schools and kindergartens are currently the same infections.
