Yep!

Thanks for sharing :D
The old FLIs? Are only gifs or FLIs are available?
I was looking at most of these animations yesterday on my old FLI player on GP32. Hehe

More at http://low.fi/~visy/cyber/

I found these on various CDs on archive.org, just search for FLI & FLC files in any of the huge BBS collection shareware disc images they have available. I didn't keep the originals after converting them to GIFs for the modern web.

Haha, finally a chance to spread this around. I found this disk in one of those shovelware racks at the front of a store when I was a kid. It was like a prize back then! Contains a bunch of cheesy/ripped FLIs, a player, and a broken batch file that doesn't even play all of them. Quality stuff:

...so then I found it again, 20 years later, brand new in shrink wrap, on an auction site for a dollar. Naturally I had to buy it and upload it for posterity.

Original disk here (note: link is on my dropbox & won't be around forever. Feel free to re-host.)

GIFized versions (I had to guess at the framerate of some of these) :

:) I always loved the cheesy stuff they put in these. One day I have to do a VJ set just using this stuff.

My FLI rendering code from ancient history, if someone wants to play with the files: http://sol.gfxile.net/zip/txtfli2.zip - zip also contains some ascii art rendering crap, but the fli decoder outputs rgb buffers if I remember right.

(and ioccc version https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75238938/fliflc.c - didn't qualify, too simple).

For even more fun, here's my deluxe paint animator file rendering code: http://sol.gfxile.net/zip/dpapcpl.zip

hah, damn, ages ago i bought some CDs with shitloads of random BBS junk to 'test' my first CD-reader back in 1995 or so, they were also full with silly FLI animations, but no idea where i stored those CDs and if they still work! oh dem memories!
why download from some shady grayware site when you can have the official source?
