Why not just release it in english so that a much larger amount of people would benefit from this?
i bet the articles suck anyway, better release them in a sucky language too. not that i dislike germans, not at all. [makes sure he'll survive BP next year :P]

LordGraga: There are going to be a lot of short stories by authors who regard themselves as language artists. These texts are difficult to translate to English. The authors insist on their copyright and some are against translation.

But work on the English Hugi is also in progress. We already have 400k of texts, but I want to have more than that for the next issue. Therefore we are still accepting texts for Hugi #30.

quality counts, not quantity.

Both quality and quantity count. If the quality of all the articles is the same, then it's better to have 2x than x articles.

OMG! He has done it - once again. [_]
Looks like a demoscene related diskmag but is a electronical lyrics mag. "Stay tuned for Hugi 30." << ph34r!!!!1
Well, the 4th issue is just as pointless as the 3rd one but at least it looks less terrible this time around. :)

I like the looks of the 3rd issue very much and have even considered using the same design for an international issue.

The point of Hugi.GER is to give people a platform to publish their works of art and express their ideas.

Fair enough. But in my vast and incredible experience, I have never encountered 'electronic text artists' that give a shit about diskmags. They love html because it's so innovative and have so many opportunities. Diskmags are just programs! For gods sake man, didn't you see the Matrix??? THEY'RE PROGRAMS!
Dominei: " I have never encountered 'electronic text artists' that give a shit about diskmags": Well, if you read German diskmags, you will see that among the contributors there are many authors of short stories, poems and other articles who are not interested in the demoscene in any way.

But then again, if the "art" and the expressed "ideas" are of such trivial, irrelevant, uninteresting and not-entertaining-at-all kind, it makes me wonder if it's still worth the effort. Also, Imho, ambitious poetry & storytelling and demoscene/diskmags are no good match. The intersection of people who like both is almost nonexistent.

Adok: Read my post again and again and again until you understand what I said. You clearly didn't the first time.

That isn't entirely true, really :)
it are the poems in Hugi we get the inspiration from to put nice poems in our demos! :P
