Nordlicht 2013 date has changed!! 19th - 21st JULY (details inside)

Hey there fellow demosceners,
I'm writing to inform you that we've received some unpleasant news today. Basically our party location's host "Westend" pulled a stunt on us and marked our reserved party date as unavailable due to another event happening there at the same time. This took us by surprise, considering I reserved our event as early as november last year. Still they somehow managed to miss that other event until today, and asked us kindly to move our party :/
We have now done that and the new date is reserved and secured: 19th - 21st July 2013
This is a whole month later, and I'm aware that some of you were already plotting travel options and bought tickets (just like we were plotting live gigs and DJ's). I'm very very sorry about this, it struck us just as unexpectedly as it did you! If you happen to be unable to attend at this new date, and you already paid for your ticket, then please get in touch with me so I can issue you a full refund as soon as possible! We would much rather like to see you at the party, however! <3
Once again I'm terribly sorry for the inconveniences, at least we have the assurance that this won't happen again and the new date is final!

Following last year’s success, we would like to invite you to a weekend full of demoscene madness in the lovely city of Bremen in Northern Germany once again! Set in a brand new location (more than double the size!!) for the most ultimate Nordlicht experience yet. Here are some of this year’s party features:
* Big party hall with space for 100 demosceners
* Additional disco party room with in-house bar (for the thirsty)
* A dedicated sleeping room (for the sleepy)
* A very decent PA sound system (for audiophiles and bass lovers)
* Two big screens, one in each party area (for the square pixels)
* Outdoor area with BBQ grill and firebowl (for the cozy moments)
* The famous free BBQ session and breakfast will return (for the hungry)
* Party Network and Internet Access throughout the hall (for your compo entries)

not sure if i can make it then, since the deadline for my master thesis is just one week later on 29.07.
i'm planning to be finish with it earlier, but you never know.. so i guess when i come it will be spontanious. will i be able to buy a ticket at the door or is it pre-sale only?

Hm, the new date is interesting since I'm on Holiday in northern germany at that time. That would rock.
@v3nom well since we only have a limited amount of seats its first come first serve with them tickets.
So far there are plenty of tickets left so you dont need to hurry but we cant promise anything once (and if) they are gone.

oh, stupid typo is stupid :/ That Hooy-Program website seems to be old, tho :P
We listened to you graphics artists out there and changed the oldschool gfx competition rules as follows:
1. Entry must run on oldschool hardware (C64, OCS Amiga, NES, SNES, Genesis etc.)
2. Entries for platforms without standardized image formats (Atari XL, C64 etc.) must be
submitted as executable program, otherwise standard formats such as .IFF for Amiga are fine
3. Include at least 4 plausible work stages for your submission and some background information about how it was created e.g. which system and tools used
4. Remote entries accepted for this category
In addition to the above, the res restriction of max. 320x240 has been removed in favor of custom formats such as Amiga's 320x256 and others to be possible. If it displays on old hardware, it should be acceptable.
Remote submissions for all supported competitions will open 1st June 2013.
