Adok: You are aware that reading the pouet bbs reduces your average attention span to around 20 seconds. Nobody will ever be able to read your comment in one piece.

wow... adok, you must be making up your mind on me quite a lot... in jamaica they say "man nuh watch no man!"... anyway, yes, i missed the "middle" period of hugi, okay. i wasnt around in the pc demoscene for a while in that time. but so what? okay, i take back the talk about "not having improved", but what use is it now, since hugi became meaningless contentwise?

and hey, i checked all music in hugu25, and all of it was broing, sorry.

and hell no, i'm not a law student, i'm studying history.

anyway, i'll check the new issue tonight, who knows maybe it can convince me in some way.

Feel free to copy and paste it into Notepad, and than change font size.

eggbird:
I'm not sure if I shall even answer that one. At least what you write doesn't apply to my ratings on pouet.net. Find out why.

who cares, any one interested in reading hugi will download it, and the rest of us will leave it be :)
Yikes: i have never seen a hugi *that* empty as this one. It has to be either saved or killed. :)

Facing that, an online magazine might be a viable vormat for it. But it would be a pity to see the diskmag disappear. Perhaps articles of hugi online can be brought out as regular digests as a diskmag?

I'll post more ideas later. And i can contribute a few articles in a month or so.

That's exactly my idea. See my article "Future of the Hugi Magazine" in Hugi 29. New articles will be posted online once in every 2-3 days. Once a fair amount of articles has been posted, they will be published as a diskmag. Thus no articles will get "lost".

"And i can contribute a few articles in a month or so."

Great. I'm looking forward to them!

I can see the future:

(some months ago, at the Pouet.net bbs)
Issue #30 of Hugi is out. Download it <blabla>.
- added on <then> by adok^hugi

(at the same time at Pouet.net database a new entry is added for Hugi #30)

Among comments, some people will say: "Crappy diskmag, filled with already published (at hugi's webpage -bs) content. No really need to download." and some other "there is no point on making a coded diskmag with this content - just put a "download all articles" link - and DONT put a record here". If adok does that then Hugi will lose a significant part of it's scene identity.

My opinion: leave Hugi as is and don't give a damn shit about those comments which are written by people who dont even dare to write an article. As said above, you can't please everybody.
