Wanted: Gravis Ultrasound cards

category: offtopic [glöplog]
I know this is most likely gonna end in just another random thread, but does anyone of you still have such a card left? Thought the scene might be a good place to ask.
Other ISA based sound cards might be interesting as well. Feel free to respond either here or via e-mail at zilogeighty at gmail dot com

GUS cards are fairly easy to find at least in Finland.

True, plenty of people have GUS cards here. Like I do. Different matter whether one wants to part with said card.

I have one in a box with 1MB memory that's been sitting around doing nothing since the 1990s.

as cool as a GUS might be, but $150 certainly isn't what I consider a good deal.

So post what you might want to pay, maybe someone is interested?

Depending on the model and whether it's boxed or not pretty much anything from 5€ - 35€

I might have a GUS (can't remember what model) with 1MB of RAM onboard at home. I'll drop you an Email when I find it.

I have roughly 15 GUSes of varying vintages, but you can't have them until 2012. But do ask me in 2012, as I'm not lying.

ringofyre: already have both of these. But thanks anyways. They're both decent cards for retro rigs.

trixter: so the soundcard museum is coming? I msged you on youtube regarding that yesterday.

If you don't have a GUS somewhere you're not a Real Dude or a 6 year old newbie newbie.

Soundcard museum is coming -- after MindCandy is finished. Which, no kidding, I'm working on right now. (waiting for a render -- good time to browse pouet!)

Awesome :)
Do you by any chance have any info about the "Innovation SSI 2001" coming?
I've recently managed to obtain some more info about it (as the internet seems to have forgotten about it), along with a very little chance to get such a card.

The Innovation (aka SID-on-an-ISA card) is the holy grail of soundcard collecting. I don't know a single soul who has one. I have probably the last MSound in the world, and even I don't have an Innovation. Good luck!
