I made a great text-adventure in 1989. But I can't remember on what tape it's on. It had custom fonts and starred a samurai!

Depends on which Platform, which Dialect... Basic != Basic.

On Amiga: WORMS
Good point Saga. All Basic languages mutated between different computers. Mokmok would need to be very specific about which Basic he's interested in, otherwise he'd need to tweak some/most of the commands.
Also some good QuickBasic games are Wetspot 2, Wandering Hamster, 'Ghini Run and Kids of Karendow Chapter.

oh yes. custom shit... i did an ascii-adventure game when i was 10... it sucked... probably still on a disk that rots away on the attic.
