I hope to be able to go; it primarily depends on whether it will conflict with a certain Corporate Event in the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Oh hai. Seems my financial situation is getting a bit better in near future so I've been thinking about coming to Rewired to eat all the chocolate there is in Belgium. And to be drunk, watch compos, meet friends, have fun and so on.

The travel page at Rewired's site is a bit short, not everyone is within train/bus/car distance of the partyplace :) So, how do I get there by plane? :o Ryanair flies to Eindhoven but I'd need to go to Sweden (Stockholm) first, so is there any other options? :o

(Skavsta - Eindhoven is ~17 euros now so it's not that expensive, but I'd need to get to Sweden first, too... + bus/train to partyplace :))

Train and plane are not impossible.. Basically it depends on what you can/want to afford.

Near airports are Eindhoven (Ryanair) but Collogne (Everything else that's cheap) is not that far either. From Collogne you can use trains to get near Belgium or Holland. From selected trainstations we offer a shuttle service.

For further details and arrangements, contact us from the contact page one the website.

Would that include Susteren (the nearest trainstation in Holland)? Seems that the bus we took last year (Sittard-Susteren-Maaseik) doesn't exist anymore, so the only alternative is the 2hour detour through Maastricht (which seems a bit excessive for a distance <3km ;)) :(

You can walk a <3km distance if you have to!

Wut! Train! Yuppieee \o/

Susteren - Roermond - Utrecht - Den Haag seems to be my getaway - if someone can drop me off the station (and if I don't get a ride to Den Haag straight from the partyplace). Google Maps shows ~8 km of walking which is of course doable if no options, I've walked that distance home from bar couple of times :) (since we Finns live in the forest while the bars are in the civilization ;)) With a backpack and June sunshine it'll be though rather sweaty endeavour :P

I'm coming to the party by car from Cologne but as I'll be spending couple of weeks in NL after the party, I need to figure out someway to get out of the party :)

That's a shitty situation with the buses indeed. Some kind of shuttle service from Susteren or Sittard would be very useful.

I'd like to see a Dutch that voluntarily walks 8 kms... ;) Here it's barely moving from a city neighborhood to another, in the Netherlands you could go thru like 2-3 villages with that distance :D

Alpha C : We'll have some kind of shuttle. posting details in about 2 weeks but there WILL be one.

Also... we've booked Santa (the Christmas one, not TRSI) and have Christmas gifts for all good children and demosceners on the way...

By popular request we are again organizing a shuttle service between 2 train stations for those visitors that use public transport.

For people traveling on the dutch railways we provide a shuttle from and to the station of Susteren, located on the line Roermond-Sittard/Maastricht.

For people traveling on the belgian railways we provide a shuttle from and to the station of Genk, reachable from Brussels, Leuven and Liege with a transfer in Hasselt.

The shuttle service will run on friday from 6pm till end-of-train service and on saturday from 1pm till 9pm.

Important : you have to REGISTER for this shuttle service if you want to be picked up at either of the above rail-stations. You can do this by sending the organizers a message from the contact page at http://www.rewired.be/
