Breakpoint Syndrome

The only thing that was slightly prohibitive was the lack of fruit, vegetables, fibre. I sometimes wonder is it just bread and meat that Germans eat?

uhm...I think the Currywurst thingie was a legacy BP inherited from the Mekka^Symposium :)
A nice >german< counterpart therefore is Evoke!
Free fruits!

What can i say. I bought Meat at the local market, so i know how it was handled, by me. I Ate around 1 1/2kG of meat, some bread and sweets at the fireplace and i feel awesome. Except for my arms... i held the camera for 1 1/2 hours at the Console/Wild Compo...

I had kebabs, and loads of other stuff from the stands aswell. I´m not ill, I wasn´t ill during BP, but that you´re not feeling perfectly ok after a BP, is due to the environment there (as already mentioned: Noise almost all the time, way too much booze for way too long time, way too little sleep, fucked up day/night cycle, way to bad personal hygiene (yes, wash hands and go showering as dodge wrote).

When I´ve been "ill" at Breakpoint, it´s always been because of boozing ;)

I had meat-only kebabs (ok, with bread to hold it in shape), which is always a savior!

I was thinking you were talking about the emptyness one feels after a great party such as bp but apparently you're just talking about the food.

I was sickened by the food but not sick from it. I had the kebab and the currywurst.

Talking about too little sleep... I didn't sleep for a period bigger than 10 minutes during the last three days of partycoding.

Still I'm not feeling fine but a little bit tired.

my stomach and head feels like i've been partying for 4 days. is that classified as breakpoint syndrome? :)
I ate kebap, pasta, and we went to the Chinese restaurant once.

Feeling fine, considering the amount of booze that went through my carcas.

Still not feeling too well myself either :)

As Puryx said -- noise, backwards sleeping patterns, excessive drinking (especially in my case on saturday->sunday) and snackfood.

Luckily I've got the rest of the week off so there's some time to get back on my feet.

The funny thing is, this is the only party after which I am not a total wreck but in contrast am full of energy and I desire to keep going.

I'm sure everyone will be pleased to know that I feel absolutely fine! I had a rindwurst in a roll once per day, washed down with eight million beers and cigarettes.

If I did pick up any dodgy bacteria, the beer and cigs undoubtedly killed them. It also helps to do shits of Old Testament proportions every few hours, too.

On Sunday, I couldn't drink any vodka no more because my stomach was cramping, in pain, I felt overall like having caught pneumonia, salmonella, half a dozen infections and who knows what else. Thankfully, nosfe had some easy to drink wine that made it into my stomach without me violently vomiting it out and so I managed to pass out on that day, too.

at least i set a worldrecord regarding visiting the toilets on breakpoint and a personal new low on alcohol consumption :D

the little scientist in me says that there must be some correlation between the two :)))

to be honest, I got on stage to do the sundown quiz, looked around, then thought "holy fuck.. 600 people". I might be just recovering from that.

i watched the stream at home and have the same symptoms. might be caused by all those guys taking their pants off though...

You know, we COULD send this thread to the Paul Ehrlich Institut...

...and hope that this asortment of symptoms will be designated as "Breakpoint Syndrome" from there on ... and treatment will be paid by the health insurance.

It might be that the finnish might've imported the Norovirus to Breakpoint.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norovirus

It's been rampant here in Finland for a while, with the amount of infections hitting their peak just a week or so before BP.

If this is the case, we're sorry.
