[DivX] Where could I upload Atari Falcon demos?

category: general [glöplog]

Hi there,

I'm currently encoding some Atari Falcon demos using DivX 4.02 codec for the video and MP3 codec for the audio.

There will be enough stuff to fill 2 CDs. Where could I upload these files? Are there any scene archive sites?

You can answer here or e-mail me (strider_sup@hotmail.com).
See ya!

Oh yes! Good Idea!!! DoDoDoDo! Me2, me2! Do something,.. I would love to see how demos look like in these machines: Falcon, Acorn, Mac,. high end consoles,. please do, because I am not sure if it's easy to emulate these thingies on PC and some people don't own the machines and would just be fucking curious to see how demos look like on these ones! AmigAGA was the beginning,. some DivX Samples of how demos look like on other 32bit high end machines would be lovely :)

There is an amiga demos divx folder in Scene.org already so having one for Falcon would be nice, too. Tho' those mirrors are still offline but perhaps if you mail to staff@scene.org about this and say JEFFRY somewhere in your mail something will happen.

OK, I'll send a mail to staff@scene.org, they should be interested... I hope :)

For Optimus: Falcon emulators are only projects. People who are involved in Falcon Powder (one of these future emulators) told me emulating both 68030 and DSP is a quite difficult thing.

The 2 CDs are online!
Just go to scene.org's FTP and download all the files:

ftp://ftp.no.scene.org/scene.org/incoming/demos/compilations/falcon_demo_mania/

Maybe a day there will be a second opus... I don't know yet :-)

Great idea !
Since most new demos on Falcon need some extra features (like CT2) , I can't watch them on my Falc.
Thx.

For Sceez: I've recorded them from a non-accelerated Falcon.
But I've 14 MB of RAM and a FPU :-)
