Optimus - who says the year 2000AD was really 2000 years after Christ, since we go by a different time frame than the Jews. I think 2012 is truly 2000 years after Christ. What does this mean??? well if my bible college days can be remembered, its approx 6000 years (4000 BC + 2000 AD) until the return of Christ. Leaving another 1000 Years for him to reign on Earth; total years = 7000 (7 is Gods complete number)

I think the Mayan calender ending in 2012 was based on astronomical data which do not change concerning where 0AC/BC really started but are universal. I heard about some planetary alignment in 2012 which can be easilly confirmed. But it doesn't mean anything will happen. At least there was something with Mayans and their wicked astronomical calendars. I can trust the Mayans more than Planet-X conspiracies now :P

Hey, the Mayan calendar doesn't actually "end" in 2012, it's just a new 395 year cycle.

^ as i said, my memory is slightly vague with remembering dates. But I do know the Bible is bulletproof with prophecies. the only thing happening in 2012 is a change of mindstate. That whole flood thing isn't with water : it is with words. It is going to be a philosophical flood, so to say. I'm not going to make any appointments beyond 2012. I'm no Christian but it is written that one day God comes back to the earth to claim his rightful sons and daughters. So what if he does and you're just living out your life, not sharing, not caring? Then you're fucked :) The way I see it, the only way to survive past 2012 is to stay true to oneself. "The revolution is not won from the couch".
