don't panic, we're on it. no guarantees, but we'll most likely provide streams for the compos (and scene.org awards) at least. we're working on putting this together, more details as soon as we get results :)

bunny & dtv guys: probably you should put up some kind of money collecting thing, with paypal and such. i think especially the people who are dependant on watching the compos online, would donate some money for your trips. (although it might be too late for this breakpoint already)...

dipswitch: I think believe we are talking about way to much money here to be able to raise it from people not affording (mostly) to be present.

this is for bp orgas about Executable 4k Graphics rule: "entries must start with a blank screen without any animation".

you allow up to 30 seconds for rendering on a top-class quad-core cpu and gpu which on average scener's config would mean several minutes of black screen and looks-like-it-hanged. wouldn't it be much more user-friendly to allow simplest progress bar or do you think it's a serious animation that would impact voting process? :)

digimind, why the hell would you code a progress bar into a 4k? it's not like you're going to have space aplenty. it's a good rule. it makes you use the space for stuff that matters.

completely different question: Will it be possible again to print shirts on-site? I think in recent years there was someone. In other words: could we bring photoshop data and get shirts printed there?

I just read that the public transportation strike in Germany is expanding to airports, and Lufthansa is cancelling (mostly domestic so far) flights.

Should we be concerned?
