First of all, BIG SORRIES for the abuse of pouet.net (No! Don't ban me again from #pouet.net :P), but I was really wondering what the hell this fucking thing is..

Yesterday, I posted one of my old quotes "truth is evil, knowledge is bliss" but in my surprise, even it showed me the screen 'Your message has been posted succesfully', it wasn't there!

Today, I decided to make some tests. Yeah, not only with the old but even with a new account, when writting exactly 'truth is evil, knowledge is bliss' or 'truth is evil,knowledge is bliss' (without the space after the coma) it will tell you that it was posted succesfully but you will see NOTHING in the oneliner!!! No matter how many times you have tried..
Exactly the same, case sensitive, because 'Truth is evil, knowledge is bliss' worked out well for me! Try to post 'truth is evil, knowledge is bliss' or 'truth is evil,knowledge is bliss' and you will see nothing! Except if my PC is haunted (but I am in a netcafe, so it must be a warning from my fate, I can't explain it else ;)

I still can't understand, why this bug happens exactly with my favorite quote. Scary..

It's amazing how much time Optimus has for posting stupid lines. Even more amazing that he never runs out of them.

I think the one liner does indeed have a limit, you can't post a two-liner.

My second line always disappears. which is probably a good thing.

well well well, 'truth is evil, knowledge is bliss' worked fine for me. I see only one explanation: pouet.net is haunted by some anti-optimus mole ghost, waiting for you to write some stupidity in the one-liner. as we all know, moles can only eat stupidity when they become a ghost, so it eats your lines before they even have the time to appear in the one-liner. really, i beleive that this is the right explanation, beause it really could'nt be anything else, you'll agree. so the chase is opened; maybe you should offer a gift to the one who will bring you the carcass of this damned ghost. or maybe the mole will come and eat my post before it even can be posted. yeah, it really could ;-)

Hey! It's really strange. I wasn't masturbating anyways. A space in front of the quote makes it appear, two people tried to scare me by showing they could appear the quote, but they must have put spaces in front. But I can't verify that anyways. Spaces won't appear at the final..

If I wanted to act silly again, I would do more nasty and clever things..

I can't proove anyways that I am not making a joke but I can't show you that this thing doesn't appear when I write it. And I can't know if it worked for someone else who tried to write that and if he is joking or not, in order to scare me..

OK, about multiple oneliners at a certain ammount of time. Does this exist in the engine of pouet?

I know the rule, that if I post something as Optimus, then someone else must post anything after that, in order that I can repost again. That's why I made my test with the second test1 account..

Is there another rule which says "You can't post more than 5 messages per minute or anything?". It didn't applied with the problem. I had a lot of time to add something, and the above quote was the first one. And not even enough seconds had passed, till I tried to repost. I reposted many messages at very few periods of time and in beetween I was also trying several times the above quotes. So I could post anything even in very ridiculous small ammount of time, but at the same time my 'truth is evil, knowledge is bliss' tests Didn't appeared!!!

So,. I am still puzzled why this could happen. I am not silly, I just found something preety weird. And still, I don't know for sure, if the others could post the quotes or there is really a problem.

Of course I don't care if I will ever be able to post my favorite quote in my beloved oneliner (I can just put a dot, for the sake of it anyways), it is just my curiosity that dragged me into testing and asking like insane. Because I found that bug (paranormal phenomena? ;) preety weird..

Seems people above are talking serious, that it worked with them..

Well my dear Optimus, I agree that my post with the mole ghost sucks but, really, I was not kidding: it worked! And, just to be sure, I did it once again right now, it worked as well and I am SURE, yes absolutly SURE that I didn't forget a space in the sentence.... ctrl-c, ctrl-v, deleted the ' that came with, deleted the last s and the first t and rewrote them... No space left, really. And it worked. Note that the oneliner already cut a post I did a few days ago, but I guess it was too long. I then tried to complain with a new post and nothing appeared, but we know that we cannot post twice if nobody writes anything between the posts (damned too long sentence I don't know how to finish it).

By the way... pouet is an island of happiness where we can spend time on interesting and existential questions like these!

You know when something like this (I mean: it SHOULD work but it DOESN'T work) happens during my work, I simply think: these are computers... stupid computers... and I go drink a coffee!

Today it worked but with many spaces in front. Now, with few spaces in front or after doesn't work. At the older times it did. I don't know about the original problem (this is still the biggest mystery), but now someone (analogue?) has taken advantage and wants to make fun/scare me out! Even the test1 account surprisingly changes alone and the post 'bliss is evil' wasn't mine. I never posted it..

Ugh. It's still a mystery for me ;(
