Wow, seel, you got nitro2k01 to speak (write) words of wisdom! that is rare.

LiraNuna: Yes, at least it's rare on the pouët BBS.

thanks nitro

i just had a thought that one might be able to do something in computer space that hasnt yet been achieved in the real world but you are right the computer is also restricted in its own ways and for a moment i imagined something magical happening but then realised it is not logically possible..if u like to post your scans please do...and thanks
i completely understand if u do not

its way more cool to code in the speed of light

correct, but only me and my fanclub are capable of that

What about,.. emulating the speed of light?

Emulation is slow

Optimus - Yeah, what about it?

seel - we will never be able to go back in time... because if we would, timetravelling tourists would be all over every single important event. More than a joke, this is a truism! :)

I'm not aware of any 3D flyby demos that actually impliment any Special- or General-Relativitistic corrections. I also can't think of any that would have called for it, except for possibly MFX - The Universe Part 1.

That'd be interesting though.

@hornet- and if you went back in time, you'd change the past that you yourself experienced, leaving there to be no 'you' with your precise memories to go back in time. So then, either you return to a DIFFERENT future, or you just kinda vanish into time and space.

Well, only way to do real time graphics in Einsteinian space would be to cheat the fun part out of it imo.

And yes, plenty of demos has implemented parts of it. But the cool part is when you take it to the extreme :)

faster than light

i wrote this post tomorrow, but i did write it at over the speed of light, so it appears "today" to all of you, slow-ass retards

Jcl: That's not how relativit works. (But you knew that ;)

ooh, relativistic effects simulated on gpu in real time

seel, do more acid and then play with that :D
