Made for fun & out of total boredom! I wanted to make this game years ago but we
were always too busy with real games... with lots of time on my hands over
a rather cold January and nothing to work on while Clix was being made I thought
fuck it, I'll have a go myself :) A week or two before OL I loaded it back up &
realised I was nowhere near finished, but a few late nights soon fixed that.

This is the 'party version' of the game... it's not in fact the one shown at the
party - that one had to be tinkered with to make it showable on the screen - but
it is a far from finished version. The final version will follow in some months
time - I have virtually no free time for months now & don't want to leave things
up in the air.

INSTRUCTIONS::

Easy. When you see the menu, press the keys [1], [2], [3] or [4] to select the
stat you want to fight with. If you win you will get to choose again on the next
card. If you lose, the computer will chose instead, so be patient & let him/her
play ;) If you draw, the control stays with whoever last won & top cards go to
the bottom of each deck. No Leon, this is not how Top Trumps works, thanks for
pointing that out. But this isn't Top Trumps :P And thanks for pointing out the
flaws in my kod design, but it made sense to me to do it that way & it works so
no big deal ;) The game modes should be pretty obvious... choose option 4 to
see all ataristars at least once :)

To exit, use that nice reset button on the back of your machine - Atari put it
there so I didn't have to make the game exit nicely. Good on them.

THANKS::

Big thanks to Swe & GGN for their GFA help while putting this thing together.
sorry I didn't say what I was doing but it was secret ;) & I didn't want to let
anyone down by not having anything to show. Extra special OL thanks to GGN for
giving up a big chunk of his OL experience to try to make my strange kod compile!
But in the end, loading the .gfa on the big screen was much more fun anyway ;)

Thanks also to Cooper, SimonSunnyboy, LP & others who's little bits of help and/
or routines were used here & there.

SORRY::

Sorry to RG for doing this in secret - it was just more fun that way :)

Sorry to anyone who feels left out. I did make lots more cards for other atari
kids, but it got quite tedious testing & playing with +40 cards, so it was cut
to 36.

MORE THANKS::

Thanks also to the OL people for letting me show the game on my machine when it
wouldn't compile & run on the party machine... would have been nice to have a
working sound system for the samples etc. but it would also have been nice if I
had actually finished the game before I arrived ;)

GREETS::

Greets to all the #atariscne people starring in the game... if you think your
stats need a boost, email me & I'll totally ignore your request ;) Most of the
numbers are random & are not what I think of your /|\ness... :)

BUGS::

They come free & hopefully won't be there in the final version. The computer
does get a bit confused sometimes, but it's an old atari, I wouldn't worry about
it... best to switch it off, give it a little pat on the grill & whisper "there
there" in the cartridge port.
