This is a standalone version of a dweet I posted two years ago. It differs slightly in behaviour from the original (it behaves somewhat more interestingly if you run it for long enough, but also the changes were necessary to fit into a 256b .html)

For best viewing experience, full-screen browser window (F11) and view in 16:9 resolution.

This is my favourite out of the dweets I've made... it isn't the technically most complex, but the emergent behaviour is interesting, and varies quite a lot over time. I hope you enjoy it too!
