Hugi is always hugi, some good articles and some not as good.

I could note that the quality of presentation, once one of hugi's trademarks, is going further down the drain. Same goes for the amount and quality of articles. But I guess that's just the consequence of decreasing appreciation and support. At times, it seems that even adok doesn't care anymore (editorial...?).

On the other hand, the selected background tunes are pretty good this time and there are one or two nice articles too.

pretty decent... didn't like the graphics but the coding articles and the AND interview are interesting

I liked the reasons why the scene is becoming more germanized.

"The main server of the demo scene, Scene.org, is hosted by the University of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Netherlands are also located in Central Europe, and their official language is very similar to German."

If that's not a valid reason I don't know what is.

Like the issue 27, doesn't match the quality of the previous ones... not bad, anyway.
It's always nice to read some fresh diskmags...

the art sucked more than previous issues, the music sucked violently, some interesting articles but alot of "intresseklubbens fana vajar"

the only thing I really enjoyed was sacrats article wich its obvious that dwangi didnt read =) or didnt understand, or dwangi is pro-bush =)
I have read some things! Rulez..

Btw,. I have read a bit at the TUM (but I already say that!) and as people remember the state I went into after Dalezy met me to the Polish people and I hold an Ouzo,.. also read now my answer to the survey question about drunken people in parties. Hahaha, now I learned at first hand :)

ok i just read the mag. i'll try to be constructive for once.

very ugly gfx. below average music. (sorry luke ;)
"15 issues ago" is a cool idea. too bad the news/rumours themselves weren't interesting :)
the survey results could've been presented in a more reader-friendly form, as in not listing every single comment as such, but for example counting the number of yes/no votes, and additionally listing some of the most funny/interesting comments.
the "liquid... wen?" article was very stupid :)
"antique toy - music compos" was very, very uninteresting. when writing an article about a compo or whatever, don't assume that the readers know what the particular compo actually is.
"scenethetic" was a weird choice for hugi... a lot of people don't even know the handles that basically make the whole story. i did, but i didn't find the comic particularly interesting or funny, sorry jailbird :)
"the diskmag quiz" was more interesting, but still not quite since pc diskmags never interested me. and the first question is just stupid :)
for some reason i couldn't be arsed reading all of the interviews either. the best way to make an interview interesting would obviously be to interview someone who's playing a big role in an ongoing scene conflict or something.

i don't care about coding, politics, science, poems or fiction in a diskmag, so i'll just leave it at that :)

btw, overall the readability of the text could be better. how about using different colours for highlights etc? and clip art here and there to make it visually more appealing? study some old amiga mags :)

Every prod. released on pc/amiga/c64 is a blessing! Make something better yourself if you can! ;)

could you give us a resume of all the productions you contributed to in the form of graphical content, code or music, Magic?

i guess i've made my point right now; go hug another tree.

and as for the mag, it stumbled me with disgrace.

Is The Scene Getting Germanized?
By Adok/Hugi

* The main server of the demo scene, Scene.org, is hosted by the University of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Netherlands are also located in Central Europe, and their official language is very similar to German.

Wow, Adok at his best. Articles are sometimes ok, the music is really good and the reason for my thumb.

About the "Germanized" article:

BB Image

Even in Wikipedia, Dutch is considered a German dialect.

omg, after the illogical reasoning there is error number 2: taking wikipedia content for granted and use it for argumentation. what a scholar :)
