Wow! Great mood, atmospheric yet dynamic, dark and cold, yet fresh and a bit ironic.

Waiting for Elude and TBL to compete in the same compo at easter.
In the mean time this new latin group name will do ;)

Nice soundtrack. Good visuals.

Excellent colors, superb visuals, quite dull music. The direction side fell flat with silly buildups and drops and weird sudden tempo changes. Still a thumb overall.

Mr. Worf, I hate surprise parties. I would *never* do that to you. Smooth as an android's bottom, eh, Data? Mr. Crusher, ready a collision course with the Borg ship.

One of those times when you immediately know who made it even if it's released under a different name. Looks and sounds nice, but not a real revelation this time.

The style of graphics and the overlay and shadetables made me think this was a creation by the norwegian tough guys Ephidrena. However the music didn't sound like something created from a of a diet of raw polar bear meat and when the credits came up it all made sense, Elude ;-). Really well executed demo, the design is really stellar simply love the "gritty" appearance everything has.

Not entirely my cup of tea. Thumbs up for the tune though.

Very stylish, very well done and a pumping soundtrack. But... the guy walking... man... with that soundtrack accompanying him, he should have done some backflips, karate kicks or walk like a fucking weirdo on drugs! :D Imho a wasted opportunity, since the scene looks fucking fabulous otherwise.

That was awesome! I like the new demogroup name :)

Slick design, some very cool scenes (the very first one was my favourite). IMO the cheesy music didn't really fit the visuals. Still a very solid demo, obviously.

Great one. Really polished production with very nice and clean design. Impressive as usual.

I love dynamics of this demo. Great soundtrack, great code and polished graphics style. Definitely RULEZ! :D

Great stuff! I actually think the intro scene is the best looking one. Also love those strange triangle effects going on in the walking man scene.

I think the music style was not my taste, but it is a very well done track!

For this kind of color grading bitplane effect, I'm thinking that it should be possible to animate the color planes at 50fps while rendering to the brightness planes at a lower fps. On Software Make the Dance Foam Oil I used an animated dither pattern in the background, but didn't think about that it could be updated every frame. Possibly hiding the low fps a little (In my dreams)

Gorgeous look, rough sound, runs smooth on actual hardware. <3
The guy could have done something more than just walking.

Kurwa, zajebiste. As usual - best, most advanced effects in compo. My favourite part is the one right after greetings and the opening effect (that reminds me a bit of Reboxer, but looks much better here). I love the lighting and transparent objects - Kiero definitely has his own distinctive style. The only thing I don't like that much is mirroring. I also thought the palettes were consistent and cleverly chosen.

Kinda agree with NoName. The robot could do something more - he could, for instance, smash the greetings or credits with a huge glossy dildo!

I like the music with its massive, fist-pumping chorus. Good job! But it doesn't quite fit the demo for me. There is, for example, a nice, oldschool-Amiga-chip part in the middle and I can't see how it supports the visuals? Or in the greets we hear the "robot theme" again, but there's no visual connection between these two effects. I love the robot walking tight to the beat in the first part, but then the sync gets off.

Anyway - this is all just nitpicking. Great stuff, I enjoy it a lot!

I usually like the stuff these guys produce, even when it's really incoherent and unfinished, but this time it did very little for me.

Piggie
Like some parts of it but it seems a bit unfinished/rushed, still, its quality code/music and gfx so a thumb up!

The sound carries this to a thumbs up
rulez added on the 2016-04-02 08:49:34 by Corial Corial
Fun fact: the version presented in the compo still needed a TCP/IP stack to be present and a parameter to start, or else... :)

(Later a fixed version was provided, with no visual changes.)

All in all, it's a nice prod, with great music, and even if one can feel it's rushed and a bit unfinished at places, it's a well deserved win.

I liked the cubes in the beginning, they made me think about the way they are synced to the music. Also liked the combination of the walking guy and those little background line-fx, quite unique to me. Afterwards, the change in music and ambience is really nice but from then on it becomes a bit indistinctive to me. Seeing the guys involved, I wonder if it is more like a more or less last min prod. Nonetheless, great cyber-tech-whatever demo.

Very good stuff. Excellent idea with adding the noise to the graphics / effects, beautiful "flying vectors / glass pieces / leaves" scene and one of the best soundtracks of your demos. Works nice on my Amiga 1260, although at the beginning I get a black screen for a quite long time and at the end of the demo, it starts "to live his own life" :) Anyway, great job.

Interesting. Kinda short, with out a storyline (at least I have not noticed any) with short, loud music, but despite that, it deserves its place.
