I'm so sorry.
Thumb up for your pain of being forced to work with a 20 year old API when I know you can do much cooler modern stuff. I know Australian universities can be a bit behind with some things but that is ridiculous.

compared to your firstie this is very meh and simply looks cheap. i bet you could have done something more interesting even with limited possibilities. sorry.

Hey sense, he said he's sorry, gotta give him that. Here, a cookie, for the pain.

I don't think it's OpenGL 1.1's fault.

Sensenstahl, I'm well aware that it's a piece of shit thanks. I only had time to do it because it was part of my coursework (which I was squeezing in between moving houses and working my first full time job). There was criteria I had to tick off to pass my unit, such as showing off lighting (hence all the shitty out-of-place coloured lights, for example, which I know looks terrible). I mostly wanted to break my streak of having done absolutely nothing.
Preacher, I'm a hardcore shader kid. OpenGL 1.1 is, ironically, way out of my league :P
You should've resisted!

Lol. It's not so bad if you consider this to be kind of parody of the first GPUs available 20 years ago - the times when showing 3d terrain, fog and mirror effect on the floor was enough etc..
However, you could have concenetrated on some procedural geometry generation on CPU, abstract motion-graphics etc... as you don't need advanced GL features for that.

Sorry, but not everything *has* to be released. More effort could have saved this.

@Kylearan I'm a couple years late on the response, but to get the record straight: This was more about showing my friends on the local scene what I'd been up to than about showing off and "releasing" things. I've just finished uni and I'm hoping to make a proper comeback. Hang tight :)
