This cool for 32 bytes but is the screenshot from the real prod? I only get green colors on my system which look a lot less impressive than what I see in the screenshot.

@StingRay, have a look at Inside the Fire Coral - Insights (alternatively : the commented source), i didn't get it to work on MsDos 6.22 either :/ A safe fix would be most likely be traded for the ESCape function. Perhaps i find a general solution ;)

holy fuck!

Works fine under DosBox. XP makes what StingRay said.

HellMood: Since it's 32 bytes you're excused! :) Awesome prod in any case, nice explanations in the source as well. Sure deserves a thumb! :)

Heh.. with an entire generation of people coding assembly in the left-and-right incorrect and flawed Dosbox instead of a real machine we're slowly making it a platform :)

Techically this seems like Dragon curve..
but 32b - just wooow.

@superplek, technically, the DOSBOX System exists, since it emulates real hardware ;) It is just that in the retro jungle out there, every system behaves different :D I usually test on 3 systems (and one is real!) but this coral refuses to be 32byte in size with escape on every system ... what can i do? :/

As a bonus, the The LEDragon

It should look something like this on every system :
BB Image

on DOSBOX, the LEDs should blink ;)

So cool I am actually tempted to try and make it in 8-bit :)

Nice palette choice. Even after reading the explanation I still don't understand how this fits in 32b.
