This is a nice edition, but the soundtrack is far from good.

nice read, as always been.

florent, interesting article! it works well - pooranoia by satori was performed live at PHAT2.. zden is still working on non-interactive version of this demo though.

Thanks for your mostly positive feedback! You like this prod? Support it! There´s nothing better you could do! A small article, a feedback email to one of the editors, a tune, a titlepic or what ever. Thanks in advance!

i bit boring.
Good stuff, keep supporting the mag people. And yes, editorial is the "intro" to the mag, we're reading it.

Totally outdated charts (but as they matter...), nice articles.

Looking forward to next Pain
(How can a pathetic greek inactive pseudo demoscener be in the wall of fame?)
rulez added on the 2003-02-25 10:36:34 by gekko gekko
Hey g(r)ekko, where the hell am I in the charts? I didn't noticed myself. Or are you just joking? I will definitelly check it again...
added on the 2003-02-25 10:47:12 by Optimus Optimus
Except if you mean the voters list, which is slow the eggs as we say in Greece ;)

I also want more demoreviews, we will try to pump up the Demospotting section in th e next issue . But I will then definately need help from outside, we can´t do it all on our own! Why doesn´t a coder speak about the prods of others, and for example about the technical skills other programmers have shown wih their work? THAT would be interesting!!!

Interviews? Yepp! No worries, more to come in the next issue! And I´ll try to make at least one "Making Of" of a demo aswell.

It is cool that obiously so many of yours DID read the editorial.. hehe! did you also find the hidden part? ;-)

Nice solid issue. thanks to everyone involved!
rulez added on the 2003-02-26 18:57:31 by uncle-x uncle-x
wellll... the music is just a wee bit bad ;)
otherwise great gfx from wade & xenusion, good articles, and the 'something' that kept me interested.

dunno about the charts tho... i suppose they can be there, as mr. gekko gekksen pointed out, it's not like anyone cares anyway ;)
rulez added on the 2003-02-27 05:04:50 by reed reed
immediately devored flod and melwyn's articles :)

immediately been pissed off by Wade's one - don't you think that you are a bit intolerant ? No ? Just like minimalanimal!

Besides, Wade, it probably never entered your mind that before writing an article you could get some info about what "seems to be" ? Analogue has been working for a long time on a new version of the site which isn't finished yet, because he has a life, yep.
rulez added on the 2003-02-27 06:52:12 by stil stil
this looked like a personal anwser, so i should mail to Wade instead of replying here, but i believe these points concern some other people around.
added on the 2003-02-27 06:57:07 by stil stil
thanks dad!
Great title picture by Wade and nice but, a little too dark coloured menu panels. Anyway the general article content was quite good and I`m sure it would have probably been better if there was more to write about or maybe more support. Something I hope to contribute to in the near future! (Hi Ghandy!) :)
rulez added on the 2003-02-27 08:02:03 by darkus darkus
reading diskmags is always fun... so, like i was saying before at hugi#26, keep the good work going...
added on the 2003-02-27 16:02:56 by pinhead pinhead
Good issue. Only the music gets a bit on my nerves :)
rulez added on the 2003-02-27 19:04:22 by dairos dairos
Very good content-wise. Actually I don't think one should expect more from a diskmag (I think a lot of people are expecting too much these days from this sort of thing:)
The interface itself is a bit too dark, and I had to turn off the sound because of the music.
So, the mag leaves a kind of mixed aftertaste. Maybe a thumbs up next time :D
added on the 2003-02-27 19:41:39 by vhiiula vhiiula
good as usual
perhaps the charts can be filtered to avoid stupid votes ?
the hour is a good idea
F1 for sound didnt change the gfx wich represents the sound volume
only one music ? sad, it's quite mediocre
unusual end scene
and, yes i'm the one wich read the edito ;-p

pain is always nice to read, gotta go on a thumbup-rampage for every pain-mag at pouet now
rulez added on the 2003-06-06 18:57:21 by dalezr dalezr
A lot of content and a nice interface. The interview with Jesper Kyd was interesting.

There's never too many diskmags. Respect and a big thumbsup!
